Heartwood Woodshop is a family-owned studio founded by Maria and Brian. We create handcrafted wooden products and practical woodworking guides in our family woodshop.

Wood with a story

Whenever possible, we use urban lumber from local yard trees, giving the wood a new purpose. Natural grain, color, and character make each piece one of a kind.

Made to be used

Our physical products are designed for everyday kitchens, tables, and creative spaces. We work in small batches so every board receives the attention it deserves.

Knowledge worth sharing

Maria creates clear, illustrated woodworking guides for makers, instructors, schools, and makerspaces. These digital resources bring the same practical approach to learning that we use in the shop.
